Maybelline New York Fit Me Foundation And Concealer
Maybelline New York:
Maybelline New York Fit Me Foundation And Concealer: Maybelline New York took its start from a small family business that rapidly expanded into an empire that is now one of the top cosmetic brands in America. Maybelline has not only made its statement in the makeup world but is also one of the most used brands for runway and fashion-show makeup.
Maybelline New York — FIT Me (Matte + Poreless) Foundation & Concealer
Maybelline New York Fit Me Foundation And Concealer: I don’t know why but I automatically expected myself to love this foundation; maybe it’s because of the fact that I’ve seen almost everyone use and praise it or maybe they didn’t praise it and I just, well, assumed in my head that they did because this foundation is so damn popular.
I won’t be unfair and say that this is a horrible foundation, but I won’t lie either and tell you that it’s amazing, because it’s not— it’s pretty average to say the very least. If you’re under the misconception that it provides full coverage, then you’re way off track, it can only give you light to medium coverage, so I absolutely do not recommend it in case you have scars or any blemishes on your face because this won’t do shit for them.
It’s not even very long-lasting; it stays on for about two to three hours before it starts melting (you can push it to about four if you use a lot of powder and setting spray), so if you require a foundation to stay on all day, this will not work for you. I mean, the main thing you want out of a good foundation is for it to have good staying power and coverage and since this doesn’t take the cake in neither, I recommend it to people whose skins are pretty clear.
This foundation comes for 6-7$, which is really cheap, even for a drug-store product. Since my skin is returning to its original form now, I would buy this foundation because I don’t need more than light coverage but for when bad skin days come (and they always do), this foundation is sure to let me down. The only really good thing about this foundation is that you barely feel like you have anything on your face; it’s so light and seamless! I’m going to quickly summarize some pros and cons of this foundation in case you only have time for a quick read.
- It’s available in forty different shades of skin complexions
- Super affordable
- Is an excellent choice if one requires light to medium coverage
- Feel seamless and light on skin
- Low staying power
- Tends to oxidize
- Doesn’t provide full coverage
- Tends to get cakey with time
Maybelline New York Fit Me Foundation And Concealer: Now, this concealer, I really like. This might just be one of the best concealers I’ve tried so far. It covers all the imperfections on one’s skin with just a single application. It feels so light on the skin and blends in so easily. It has yellow undertones, so it works super well with my skin and lasts literally all day even without primer or setting spray. Just like the foundation, it has medium coverage and its being 7$ doesn’t hurt much either. My favorite thing about it is that it’s great for both dry and oily skins; totally going to buy this one again. Here is a short list of pros and cons:
- Good staying power
- Conceals all flaws with a one application
- Light and seamless on skin
- Cakes up with time
- Tends to oxidize
